Have a look at SqueezeCast. It has a somewhat limited UI and does crash
from time to time but apart from that it works quite well.
As soon as it's running you can send it to the background on iOS4 (if
your iThingy supports multitasking) and control it with iPeng.

Hi,
I'm running SC 7.5.1 on XP.
I recently installed a raft of XP updates (12) and my SC tray icon
disappeared.
The server is running and there are no other noticable probs but I
can't get the icon to reappear.
I guess the XP updates are causing this, but which one?
Any ideas?

Ich kann meine Squeezebox nicht ausschalten. Ich kann die Musik
pausieren, aber dann ist diese trotzdem im stand-by. Zum ganz ausmachen
brauch ich entweder die Remote oder ipeng.
Ist ein On/Off Button in Planung oder gar nicht

I presume the SB Server is actualy streaming the Pandora stream toward
the Classic (or Touch etc.)...so the PC running SBS would be the actual
Pandora client (?)
In that case, having the SBS run on an ordinary PC it is simple to
install the tunnel software there. Using that, the European based PC

+1 on SP crashing right after launch. Maybe a few more details will help
point to the issue:
- 2 SB Recievers
- Only connected to MSB.com for streaming (no server, no mp3)
- seems to happen when both SBRs are turned off
- if i access MSB.com and use the online remote to turn on at least one

itself finds only the iphone version and that you have to search the

Extracted the zip file to c:/ changed directory on CMD cd c:/
Run the scripts/udap_shell.pl and get 'scripts' is not recognised as
an internal or external command...

First bug for you.
If you go into current playlist, click edit, select all tracks and
delete them. You then close the current playlist popout and add a new
track to the current playlist. When you go back into the playlist it
doesn't show that track you just added.
If you click the save button
Crashed on first start, but started on second try.
I'm confused most by the fact you put the playlist to the left and
player selection to the right (far away from the player symbol).
After playing around a bit I decided to search for the quote where you
bashed Sonos for just using their iPhone
And another minor bug with context menu when you change orientation
while they are open

Not stretch the art on the now playing screen if the art isn't high
enough resolution. All my art is 500x500 but starts looking a little
fuzzy if stretched.

But when i run the program, the first time i have a parameters windows
with the ip adress, the ports, the status. Even if i'm connected i have

Radionomy is indeed a very nice addition to the MySB Apps, all 128k,
wide selection.
My one suggestion would be to further segregate the genre's via
sub-menu's.
Example: Radionomy Hits = 240 stations, the names of the stations
are not always obvious to their genre type.

Yes I tried it. However it doesn't work with songs with non-english
artist/filenames (shows up garbled). The song did show up correctly in
regular SC web interface..
It will be nice if rating/category is an integral part of SB.

the list towards the beginning.
You'll find that the index in the web interface has similar issues.
I believe it could be fixed in the meantime, please try updating to a
more recent build.

issues they are related to

control my squeezeboxes by far. Set up faultless and everything seems
just to work. Album art is spectacular(and justifies the use of
500x500) images I have tried to use wherever possible.
