Hi,
I'm curious if there's a listing of changes included for the 7.5.3 and
7.6 beta versions, relative to the latest generally available version
of SBS.
I have an SB3 and a Boom. Native decoding of ALAC would be nice...
Thanks,

Is there anything you don't like with ipeng that could be done better?
For instance a real controller could be considered better, because it
has real keys, which make it easier to find the skip key or volume
controls in the dark.
Not everyone might find this important though ;)
I've got a touch and a v3 classic, i use ipeng on my iphone but was
wondering if any other remotes give better controll?
Thanks.

My original SB3 (with the Slim Devices logo) appears to have died.
Although power reaches the device (the optical out lights up), the
screen stays dark and the device is otherwise unresponsive.
If you're interested in purchasing this for parts (or maybe you can get
it to work) please PM me with

Can you provide the output from the following.

Can you confirm the same audio silence behaviour with 7.5.2?

AAC+ support after 7.3.x is done using faad and not through the AACplus
plugin. IIRC The plugin explicitly is disabled for versions after
7.3.x because it is not needed.
AACplus/AAC+ support comes under AAC support in

That's what the wiki stated (native since 7.3.2) but the AACPlus folder
was missing from the plugins folder and from the File Types menu. In

Never mind .. not sure what happened but somewhere in the last SBS

Thanks for the patch Mike.
No need to rework it.
I've tested the change on linux, osx and windows with no initial
adverse affects.
As it's not the sort of change that will initially cause issues I'll
continue testing in the coming weeks.
