I have an HTC Desire connected to the same network as my Squeezebox
server (v7. 5.3 on Win 7) via Wi-Fi.
When I run this app it doesn't find my server & players, it just asks
me to try again.
I am using security on my Squeezebox server. Any ideas? Squeeze

Have you ever been presented a logon screen for your server? (not the initial
mysb.com screen)

My guess is he wants to remove/hide Home Menu items not being used.
Wouldn't the App simply use any menu customizations set

I've just tried the same thing. I bumped up the log level for anything
scanning related, the log file only shows the last successfully scanned
directory. Back to 7.4.2 for the moment...

after looking at the scanner log, it looks like it was a bad track from
an album causing the problem. I removed that album and rescanned and
it went through without a problem. Strange that the windows version of
squeezeserver scanned it without an issue though.

I am trying to synchronize a Slacker stacked playlist with multiple
players in our home. I am finding that it is not possible to sync with
other players. Is this just a normal lack of synching functionality for
Slacker? I have no problems synching other music
services(rhapsody,Sirius) Thank you.
Slacker may limit the number of streams per account to a single stream.
I ran into a similar issue with Pandora premium - it would sync a few
songs and then stop. Somehow Pandora knew that multiple devices were
listening to the stream.

You should be able to Sync if using SBS, that way MySB and Slacker
should see only a single stream.
Also make sure you are not logged in on the Slacker web UI somewhere.

If your player is currently connected to SBS you can navigate the player
to Settings > Advanced > Networking > Switch to MySB.com
If you plan on doing this often (switching to MySB while SBS is
running) you can add "Switch to MySB.com" to your Home Menu

I did contemplate the idea of trying to get external access to the
squeezebox server but for obvious reasons didn't want unauthenticated
access to the server so I enabled basic auth security.
Unfortunately I was unable to find ANY android app that will connect to
stream.mp3 while it has basic auth

This is what I don't understand.
I've been asked for my mysqueezebox.com login but not my wi-fi network
password. The app still seems to be able to control my Squeezeboxes
(although erratically).

afternoon, no problems.

I've just tried this, but I'm afraid I'm very disappointed with the
performance. On my Orange San Francisco (re-badged ZTE Blade - a
current budget model), it is so painfully slow to be unusable.

Goal is to make the ui as simple as possible and have all unused button
