It's not about the lines of code. It's about the amount of
discussions/further improvement requests from the 10 people that would
use that and who wouldn't be sati
The difference between SqueezePad and iPeng is that I rely on the menus
of Logitech everywhere, whereas in iPeng some menus are custom built.
Both has its advantages and disadvantages.
Right now I'm not sure if I can even get the times you request for with
the way I am using but I will have a loo
I really like the Squeezepad app but one thing that I like more about
iPeng is that if I tap an album, the track times are shown along with
the artist/album/track info. That's a nice feature for us freaks that
collect lots of live music (Grateful Dead, etc), I know that I can tap
and hold a track
We're looking into basic support for this. As bluegaspode mentioned,
getting a CLI mapping might be quite challenging...

I have an account (free!) on archive.org (Live Music Archive). I
bookmark (on their site) shows that I really like.
Is there a way that I can play the shows from my bookmark via
Squeezebox?
Thanks,

Hi, this is my first post so please can you try and help me.
When using the napster app with my squeezebox duet every song keeps
rebuffering, this has only just started to happen as its been working
fine for weeks.
The squeezebox is plugged into a home powerline network and I have very

What I meant was to use
Code:
ipeng:spotify://
But actually I DO consider to hijack Spotify links, too, on iPad :)

Hi - I own the Touch, but would like a player that is able to
passthrough 24 192. Except for the rather pricey Linn-machines, are
there any other Squeezebox Server compatible machines in the
marketplace today?

Hello peoples, I've carried on with development work on my side but
haven't posted the results. Right now I have a quite sexy (i.e.
functional) version which has been tested on my computer only.
I am happy to do some broader development work, but please tell me what

Well, that's what the basic url scheme does... If you don't want to do
all of the rest, leave it out, from my definition it's all optional.
I've got some use cases I need the rest for.

I wouldn't want to implement a URL scheme that tries to mimic CLI
commands.
This would get us into a neverending story and to be honest: we create
a lot of work on our side to support 1% of the userbase that even know
that something like URLs on iOS exist.
Count me in if we build a common URL tha
My website became a reality this week (www.squeezeplayer.com) and I
already started to write my first instructions (but still hidden until
completed).
I hope to have it finished on the weekend or so.
Simbo - thanks a lot for these instructions in the meantime!

Unless I missed it in this forum, I'm anxiously awaiting the step by

OK, here's a proposal for discussion (you can edit the Wiki with
comments)
https://trac.penguinlovesmusic.de/trac/ipengnat/wiki/URLScheme
I would propose all Squeezebox Apps use the "squeezebox:" scheme on
iPad since here the user is able to select the App that should be used.

Indeed, I had it turned on for a while. Turned it off in the end, found
it far too easy to trigger it accidentally. Hope Apple have a bit of a
rethink before releasing it on the masses.

Yes,
Here are some instructions I put together for Gruntwolla. If people
think they're useful I'll create a wiki page and flesh them out a bit.
SECURITY
If you haven't already done so, you'll need to put a password onto your
Squeezebox Server. From the SBS web site, go to Settings, Advanced,
Security
I've been waiting for this option since I set up my Squeezebox system
over the last two years. I have an Evo 4G that I'm trying to stream
to. I have my SBS 7.5.4 setup on a ReadyNASDuo which has been upgraded
with 1GB of RAM. My ISP has 3MB upload so I have more than sufficient

Hi Michael,
thanks for your quick answer.
As I know, apps that have a published URL Scheme can be launched via
other apps. The actual 1.4 release of the bitwise controls Project
Editor allows you to add URL Schemes to GUI buttons, which would allow
you to launch any app with a published scheme. S

We haven't registered an URL scheme. What level of control would you
expect to gain?

Hello,
obviously it is possible to launch an app out of another app, if the
URL scheme is known.
I would like to include the squeezebox app in the bitwise app. If there
is an URL scheme this should be possible. Anyone knows about that?
Thanks!
