It is not a genuine problem for SqueezeBox Server 7.5.1, just refresh
your server. Try to connect and disconnect it 2 or 3 times.

a friend of mine now uses a Squeezebox Classic which I have previously
used for a long time without any problems. It worked very well for a
couple of month but recently shows strange behaviour:
While playing music occasionally the player will reboot (show intro

1. duplicate IP's on network
2. loose power connection, try wiggling it at the player
3. PSU in general, try a different outlet, or may be failing

when i want to run more than one player...i have 5...with more than 1, i
get drop outs and freeze ups...never a problem with 6.5.4
any thoughts?

Well I found it... was originally looking at LMS preference pane in OSX,
not the web server. However, there is no password protection set. I even
activated it, then tried logging on and it still would not accept my
username and password. Then I turned it back off... same thing.
Impossible to say without more information, as lots of us have no
problem with 7.7.1 and multiple SBs. Info such as type of server
hardware, network details, type of files being served, etc. would be
necessary even to begin to answer your question.

more info on your setup. It's not a general problem with 7.7.1. I have
up to 4 SB players synched, 3
so on my iphone4s i have the squeezebox controller app and it takes
30secs or more to run a search on the Rhapsody app . then it will time
out after about 40 secs of loading .then when i try it again i get
another 30secs of loading and it finaly goes thru. any ideas?

also worked fine to manage the playlists for my WinAmp player, and also
with a SqueezePlay client which were both streaming music over the net

Can't say I figured it out but it's now working.
I have a escalated ticket with Logitech over the issue. After doing
some googling I found out that some folks were having the same issue
when two devices capable of routing were in their networks. I have a
Westell modem and an Airport Extreme. The
My ISP is Comcast and I'm having the same issue. Has anyne found a work

Slow response by Rhapsody and the browser in the App runs into the load

I had a similar problem recently: 2 SB3s, 1 Touch 1 Radio connected to
SBS; from time to time one SB3 would lose connection with the server and
would not reconnect without a server reboot.
It was not always the same SB3 that would lose the connection, but the
problem did not affect the Touch
