I'm actually quite happy with my Squeezebox setup, I spent a lot of time getting it so that it is pretty low maintenance, especially important since my son was born I'm more inclined just to listen to music and my tinkering/forum posting has dropped dramatically. Roughly speaking the main element

Using Softsqueeze to debug sync is pointless as Softsqueeze is known not to sync reliably. Only the hardware players can sync reliably. To see what is happening I suggest enabling the logging (player.sync) as it will provide hard evidence on why LMS is trying to resync. For sync to work properly

ok - So I downloaded 7.6.1 and installed it on a virtual machine. This I did purely to get to a defauilt installation of SqueezeServer. I then also ran up two instances of SoftSqueeze >From this I was able to get these default values: Player Start 0ms Player Audio Delay
