Is there anyone out there who could investigate whether minus.com could

There's API info at http://minus.com/pages/api

Sending music to a synced player from JRiver Media Center via WhiteBear

first sync the players.
There are several ways to control JRMC and sending music to

people who want to share

I wonder if there are any other ways of replicating the mp3tunes
feature?
There is this prototype of a plugin for the Amazon cloud player:

Thanks. I guess I'm really suggesting that there should/could be an app
available via sb.com.
Also, SB should really retire

I agree.
I may give the amazon prototype a try.
Hi Ralphy
Slightly odd one - I've installed the raspberry build on the current
raspbian OS (which seems to include ALSA), and after a little messing
around, everything seems to install and run fine. I can see the client
from the web control or from iPeng, turn it on and off, play tracks to
it

Having read the install details, I'll have to give it a miss as I find
them incomprehensible.
Guess I'll just have to wait until somebody comes up with a 3rd party
app routine.
Hi
Is it possible to get Logitech Media server to keep a list of recently
played albums so that they can easily be played again.
When I used to use CDs I would keep CDs that I'd just played on a shelf
near the player and when the shelf got full (maybe 10 CDs) I'd put some
of the items that
Probably not quite close enough to what you want, but I'll suggest it
anyway: scrobble your played tracks to last.fm.

Aha, I was sure it used to work.
The excellent PlayLog plugin will keep track of everything played. I
don't recall how easy it is to go from its log to playing the
tracks/albums again.

FWIW, I reported a bug early this morning and got a friendly email about
it this afternoon. I'm finding this gloom-laden forum pretty hard going
at the

Thanks so much for all the effort you've already put into this!
Before you spend any more time, maybe I should post something asking if
others would be interested - no point in you spending hours on this if
there are only a couple of users.

It's very easy to do it with the excellent PlayLog plugin if you are
happy using the SBS/LMS web interface to do it. PlayLog

Was it getting better or worse with 7.6 when they introduced SQLite as
database engine ?
I have no problem with SSH (been doing networking for 30+ years) but I
basically don't see the point in bothering with it for streaming music.
Remember that SBS was written with the intention of being read only, so
even if someone noxious breaks in they can listen to your music, or make

I'm something of an obsessive performance geek when I get the time. I've
tried ZFS in the NAS, adding SSDs to the ZFS, using

this looks interesting. They say it is based on JRMC. Interesting that
it uses a dbpa based ripper. It does seem they are trying to do all the
right things within a DLNA type system. The one thing I couldn't
discover
username/password are sent as clear text so you don't have to be a
hacking genius to get them is you can get in the middle of a request.
And if you have those, you have access to LMS. Not the whole system if
Perl's security works but still you can fudge around LMS quite a bit.
