I have a few synced players, one is an older receiver so I'm using the
protocol handler, is there a reason cross-fade isn't working with it?

Note that the pi 3 memory card slot is NOT sprung.
Stick it in: pull it out.
You will need some Dremel-time to use most pi 2 cases.

Not wrong. When players are synced - LMS has to become the sole source
of audio stream so that the same audio samples can be sent out to
I ripped a Blu-Ray DVD to a 96kHz, 16-bit PCM file. It "plays" on
Transporter in the sense that the progress bar moves, but no sound comes
out. The same file plays properly in my Subsonic server. How do I adjust
things so that it plays on my LMS also?

That's the simple part of this setup. Just use any Android or iPhone
USB wall charger + standard USB cable. Readily available under $5.
