Understood, I'm not running a LMS ser
not yet, but if it goes again, I'll do that next, or just swap the
speakers around. I didn't think I should use the phono stage, so I
won't.
It's still performing OK, but I suppose its getting used to listening to
it without tweaking it using the EQ, or buy another.

That's right it is a HLS stream. It cannot be played on a squeezebox
with mysqueezbox.com. I couldn't test it - it may be a 5 minute summary
stream.
