Thanks all. Really appreciate the comments. Will ask around if someone has another ps that I can test with but looking less likely as a possible cause. I will park it for a bit while I work on getting IRBlaster working with squeezelite which will influence my decision on doing the caps.. cheers

It's a cheap SMPS, and even if it measures within the %+/- range it doesn't mean its delivering sufficient current to drive the SB3. Chris :) Stratmangler's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20387 V

If your Lyngdorf amp is one with "Chromecast built-in", you might give the LMS Chromecast plugin a try. From what I've read, it can support up to 24/192. Can't guarantee gapless or ReplayGain support with these plugins, though, so you'll have to test that. Honestly, the best player for LMS is

I don't think it's ever been specified anywhere but generally most thing run on 5V +/- 5% so thats 4.75 to 5.25V. There's no guarantee that this is the right range for your SB3 though. It COULD still be the PSU as it only takes a momentary drop in voltage to potentially cause a reset. ---

Don’t think the homeplugs are an issue. The wired connection is solely for being able to calbrate and operate the amp from my Ipad. Music playback is wireless. Anyway, I switched off the UPNP plugin in LMS and reverted to playback via Airplay - and everything works as it used to - single touch sel

Hello, The last few months my SB3 has been resetting itself after random periods of time. I have ruled out wifi and done all the resets. My power supply is providing 4.9v with no load and 4.79/4.8v when powered up. Does anyone know if this is too low ? I have a second ps that I have tested with
