Back in the day if you said “I’m listening to Pink Floyd’s new album” it inferred that you meant on vinyl LP. If you were actually listening to a cassette or 4-track you’d add that qualification. Now it’s not as straightforward. As I type I’m listening to The Jam’s All Mod Cons but it’s not an LP
