Mr Webster recommended a fix for this and I think it was implemented by MHerger in one of the LMS versions. I don't have time to search for the links right now :( Are you using SQPOS 303 ? and is it internal or on a usb stick ? I can fire one up tomorrow, if you let me know what you are doing

After a couple of years in hibernation I have resurrected a Joggler with squeezeplay. OS installed. The first thing I noticed was when the Joggler is running the log message that 'you are using a Squeezebox with an outdated firmware' So checking through the Joggler settings I came across the

I've had various attempts with Squeezeserver and linux over the last two decades, none of them successful and all of which took up shed loads of my time. So I'm not going there. Next step for me is likely to be with be Polyvector's DAC32 Gateway (and yes, I know it's Linux), when the price for

Just to add one thing to this There is some issue with Material Skin on Win 10 not showing the libraries once they've been set up. It's like the skin is cached and doesn't update so you can't see your libraries. I had to go to the mobile skin on my phone where they showed properly to select

I think the UUID remark applies when you move the installation to a different machine as the client likely links this to a specific network location (IP/MAC) which would then be incorrect. i.e. no similar instruction exists for upgrading your version of LMS, which is effectively a re-install as
