it all but i'm really pissed by
it. I didn't want 7.4 or new firmware on my duet remote, the previous
versions worked fine.

Is there any way to customise the skins on the controller? Would be
quite nice to add a background, change colours etc.

You need SqueezeCenter 7.0 or later to use either the SB Receiver or the

ok thanks.
can Squeezecenter 7 work on the QNAP?
and i'm assuming the SB3 still works as normal with SC7?

If you can successfully play BBC 1 on your squeezebox, you can play it
for your alarm. Just save BBC 1 as a playlist, then select that
playlist as the one to play for your alarm. Easy peasy.

Just browsing the NETGEAR website and noticed teh Vista Drivers section.
Currently downloading the DG834PN driver from this page
http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101649.asp#vista_wirelessrouter
Will see what that does (probably cripple eveything :) )

here that suggest the SB3 has issues
with the Netgear series 8 routers.
Now i can't return the router so that only really leaves me with one
option. gutted :(

Just tried to connect with WPA-PSK enabled over ethernet and even that
isn't working
Fails to obtain an IP address and asks me to auto assign one.
Surely if i'm connected ia ethernet the WEP/ WPA shouldn't interfer
with the relationship between the router and the SB3???

I'm using he latest firmware (updated yesterday) and always use numbers

so i think Vista may be causing some if not all of the problems.
