real solution seems to be occasionally taking a snapshot onto another
drive - which calls into question the whole idea of RAID 5 versus RAID
1 in the first place.

I'd have to get the dedicated remote out to do any heavy duty set up of
my AV receiver, but for the day to day operation of my equipment I don't
have any issues with the Harmony (other than the aforementioned tiny,
tiny buttons.)

512MB DIMM into the box.
My music library is about 150 GB, FLACs and high bit rate MP3 and
performance is fine.
Infrant has a forum linked off the support page of their website and
they are very quick to respond to any sort of questions.
