Is anyone else having problems with TIDAL streaming?
Pandora seems solid and I'm fairly confident my Internet service or WiFi
isn't to blame.

An overwhelming majority of Squeezebox owners who are also audiophiles
recognize that the SB onboard DAC is not up to audiophile quality.
Using either digital outputs (eTOSLINK or COAX), the SB signal bypasses
the onboard DAC and allows for substitution of a quality DAC, possible

I have confirmed that the TIDAL MQA Master quality tracks can be
partially decoded (one unfold-24bit/96kHz + the benefit of correction
for the time domain smearing caused by the original A/D converter) via
TIDAL's desktop app (Windows or Mac). Rumor has it that hi-res playback

Can someone explain the basic signal/circuit path for streaming music
via: computer, Roon software, and Squeezebox Touch?

In case anyone missed the beta screen that slipped out at TIDAL, which
was quickly removed. But someone got a screen capture.

Fact #1: MQA has several parts/components.
Fact #2: Confusion of what it is and how it works is currently the
status-quo.
Fact #3: A growing number of top audio companies have become believers.

I was listening for awhile, but that's over. You now must subscribe to
stream from Squeezebox devices. No working free account. Same as
Spotify.

Yes, MOG (320 kbps) was a cross between TIDAL (sans worthless
"curation") and Pandora. Attorneys for Be

So here's a question. Each Squeezebox device is assigned a unique player
MAC address. When connecting to mysqueezebox.com, an individual's
account becomes associated with that device..."Add Player".
Now assume the device is sold to a third party, but the seller has
forgotten to log into their acc

years. This community has worked endless hours to keep Squeezebox
viable.
However, with the growing integration of the DTS Play-Fi® ecosystem in
audiophile-level equipment is Squeezebox about squeezed out?

Several factors need consideration. If you're streaming into a quality
(higher fidelity) audiophile system, TIDAL via ickStream, makes a
noticeable difference.
Select the same tract of music and then listen at 192, 320, & 1411kbps.

Let's hope someone at Logitech and Beats speaks for these companies and
gives valid information. The MOG library was deep, but they probably had
to renegotiate all the source contracts, which could have been a huge
job.
