Hi Well this mornings errors were both on MP3 (99% or so of my music is after I re-ripped last year) - one track was 195kbps VBR, the other 192kbps CBR. Bit Rate limiting is greyed out as it says I don't have LAME installed (I do, but I guess it can't find it) Cheers Eserim

but it is getting to be an issue. And I'm not sure where the fault is - my router is a old Dynamode one - not a common model. When not playing the SB often loses connection for a few seconds (clock vanishes and message appears) - but I think this is another issue Any ideas? Cheers Eser

Hi Is anyone using a FM transmitter plugged into their SB to send music to FM radios around their house? I'm trying to see if a reasonably price one exists - it will have to be mains powered (240V) and have a decent range, so the in-car ones aren't probably an option. Chee

One point, by looking at the service list at start up, both SlimServerMySQL and SlimServer service are listed as starting, then a few seconds afterwards as stoping. Slimserver stops, SlimServerMySQL sticks as "stopping" where are the slimserver specific logs saved? Cheers Eserim

it is intermittant, sometimes it works, whilst other times it fails. I think it is getting confused that slimtray is run on login on !All users", but tries to make user specific changes maybe :-D -- Eserim Ese
