Ah, thanks. It took me a while, but I remembered that the iTunes files
are redirected by symlink, so I had to use the full path and not the
symlinked path for it to work.
C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe "d:\Music\iTunes\iTunesUpdate.pl"
"d:\Music\iTunes\iTunes_Hist.txt"

I am trying to run the following from the command line;
C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe "C:\Users\Finchy\My Music\iTunes\iTunesUpdate.pl"
iTunes_Hist.txt
but it says it cannot open the perl script as there is no such file or
directory. Both the iTunesUpdate.
Anyone able to help on this?! :(

The iTunes music is on the F:\iTunes, Perl installed on C:\ and iTunes
data files in C:\Users\Finchy\Music\iTunes if that helps!

Yes the paths are the same, so I guess I can just run the script every
few days to update the playcounts into iTunes?
I know nothing about writing or running a perl script - is it a
standard script, where can I get it, and do I need to install anything
for perl?!

in LMS/the Touch as I
have loads of smart playlists in iTunes already (I am very organised!
:D ) so if the playcounts are updating the smart playlists should also
update whenever I run iTunes?
Am I on the right track here, or misunderstanding stuff?

browser looking under Interface but can't see it anywhere, or under any
other tabs. I'm sure it's installed as I can see Music Information
Screen v4.4.7 in the installed plugins.

I do have that installed (and the trial license activated) but it's not
feeding any data back to the iTunes database. Can anyone assist me in
getting it working please?

OK, so to update, I can now see the iTunes playlists in the Squeezebox
Touch, but it's not updating back with playcounts. How do I get it to
do that?
