://localhost:9000 should work, all things
being equal.
You will be able to ping localhost but you won't be able to ping
www.localhost.com.
If you really wanted to you could put www.localhost.com into your hosts
file using notepad, but there's not much point.

But I had to work it out. Does not remembering your age mean you've
finally come of age? The second biggest Slim fan in the house is our
daughter, and she's 7. Months. SWMBO is a secret Slim fan, but will
never admit it to anyone who asks.

Slimserver seems to run fine on the latest Vista release already. It's
too early to say anything about performance however...

While we're talking Jukeboxes, somone posted a link to a Mac only
jukebox front end that worked like a conventional jukebox, displaying
album art on a rolodex type display. I have searched the forms, but
can't find it anywhere. Anyone remember what it was called?
Thanks

Ignore me, I hadn't noticed that you can create your own formats in the
Server Settings Page. Great, great plugin Michael, thanks very much.

the FLaming Lips has commented in the past that they're not supposed
to... I love them, but (and?) they are odd.

Indeed, GSPlayer works perfectly. I use this exact config on a Dell Axim
X3i or X30, can't remember exactly what it's called. I have the PDA in
my workshop for when I'm hammering and sawing, sounds fine through the
small desktop speakers I use with it.

I've not turned on debugging to see, but I use the XPLHAL monitor to see
codes being reflected in its log and they are, they're just not picking
up the LRLightsx name reference. I can't see how to get that to be
reflected in SS???

Hi Jaap,
The SB3 can kind of learn remote codes. If you install the XPLHAL
manager it'll reflect the remote codes in its logs. I use cosed the SB3
doesn't understand to drive Homeseer. More info available if required.

Yes, that's a vote on a per-player basis, though I can imagine that a
per-server setting would have broader appeal and to be honest it would
be perfectly adequate for me, I have a fetish about over complicating
things...

An easier way to caller ID? I feel your pain. In truth though, the
Savard Soft YAK integration is really very easy to implement if you
have hardware that is supported in YAK. Worth a look IMO.
