certainly don't
want next door's doing the same. competing channels degrade the signal
considerably. decreasing the power on the access point to avoid overlap
can also help.

vm's.
a server running multiple os's, email, remote access, remote control for
the house, media etc is surely the way to go. throw your raided disks in
etc and you beat a nas anyday.
i'll be sticking with this route. i had a nas a long time ago and it's
redundant now due to my vm server.

pc. you can serve
up files over the internet, remote access anywhere in the world etc
etc.
raid is easy with them. backups is easy with them. so a nas? nah.
to limited!

.
for my kitchen, i'm looking for something that can be hidden eg on a
bracket or something like that fastened to the bottom of the kitchen
cupboards and sort of hidden by the plinth.
these will be connected to a hidden duet receiver.
anyone any ideas?

!
signals should overlap as little as possible (you can adjust power for
this) and overlapping channels should alternate eg 6, then 7, then 6,
then back to 6,7,6 etc
its worth checking what other buildings around you are chucking out.

the output be adjusted should i
need it to be?

in there that will jump it to
a certain position and play it next. eg move to top, move to position 5
etc instead of having to continually move the song up the playlist by
clicking.
is it possible?

a track on the library and add that track
into position 5 on the current playlist.
or move a current track in the playlist from position 11 to 5 eg click
track and have an option pop up with move track to position ?
and ultimately, drag and drop!!
