also had to edit /etc/squeezecenter/convert.conf because SC7 appears
to ignore /usr/share/squeezecenter/custom-convert.conf
I then had to replace /usr/share/squeezecenter/Bin/i386-linux/sox with
a link to /usr/bin/sox
I am still not 100% sure it's maintaining the 24 bits though ...

press and hold the power button until the TP resets and quickly move
your finger over to the add key. If you're too slow you might need to
use two fingers ...

This is the only forum I've ever had spam pms on and I complained about
them here a few months ago. Sadly, nothing seemed to be done.

I'm trying to do it on a song in a current playlist and also in a song
browsed to via Artist ... so it sounds like there must be something
amiss with the plugin button assignment then?
The tracks must be mixable, because I get a mix if I click the M in the
web UI.

I now have MiP running*, but pressing and holding PLAY seems to want to
add the playlist to Favorites (sic) - rather than generating a mix. I
can generate a mix fine from the web UI.
What am I doing wrong?
* It's still validating my 39K tracks though.

You might also like to consider the Logitech X-10 speakers, which sound
pretty good with or without a PC.
They aren't huge, and won't do much bass, but what they do do, they do
very well.
At around £80 they are good vfm too.
They'll do for signor_rossi as well ...

If you want it really quiet, you'll probably need to go for 2.5" HDs too
- I've found the 3.5" ones are generally too noisy in a fanless system.

Check you have audio outputs always ON in players settings. It could be
that the AEs don't like the audio input disappearing when the SB is
switched OFF.

Re-program the Xilinx chip by pressing and holding '1' and recycling the
power on the SB3.
It's possible a power glitch corrupted the chips, which may explain the
two happening at the same time.

to network throughput problems.
Also the SB1 originally came with a different screen, which was later
updated to the same one as is now used in the SB

I turn it off on every one I install. I can only assume that it's an
audiophile thing - you know, leave it on repeat for a few weeks to
'burn-in' before you listen ;-)
But it's even harder getting an enhancement through than a bug fixed,
so probably not worth worrying abo
It's always been that way.
Therefore it's not a bug, and it would be an enhancement to change it.

If you can, I would experiment by making an earth connection between
the 0V pins on one of the Nait's input DINs, and mains earth. That
references the signal earth to mains earth for the system, and is the
way Naim systems are generally wired (the connection is made inside a
Naim CDP).

The SB3 has no ground and Naim systems expect a signal ground to mains
earth connection in the CDP.

It probably depends on how old the SB1's firmware is, but you may be
