You could always use a linux server with a 1000Mb Nic (copper over CAT6 cable feeding a cheap Layer2 switch with just 1 copper 1000MB uplink (to the linux) and 24 or 48 or whatever 10/100 downlinks to the SBs and so on. That's the basic scenario Cheers Nikos --

rotate the antenna freely..you have to loosen it back a little bit..rotate to the desired angle and tighten it afterwards. Could this difference in "tightness" explain the better signal for the "old" antenna? Any tho

Come on, doesn t anybody have an idea of why such behaviour should occur?? I mean we are talking about 10% better signal (comparing the two scenarios, not a 10% "absolute" increase). I'm sure this should be interesting enough for everybdy using wireless. N
