I wonder why it continued to play in the absence of either a local SS

Could it be that it was just playing from its local cache, even after
the server disappeared?

How then can the buffer supply data for more than a minute after the
incoming data stream terminates?
Curious,

know how big the buffer was, I guessed that it was not THAT big. Now I
see.

Sort of reminds me of that cat song that Raffi, the Canadian singer

not complaining. Very happy with my SB3 (so far).
But, you know... we all seem to want... more. :-) If SB3 suddenly
supported MP3Pro tomorrow, something else would no doubt get my
attention as the next request. Continual improvement, etc.

Well, it would seem different stations are different with regard to how
closely the track info syncs with the actual music. Or maybe it just
varies over time. Does either of these possibilities make any sense?
I will observe some more.

), then decoding a 64 Kbs MP3Pro stream would be comparable to
a 128 Kbs MP3 stream.
Which is probably the case anyway due to Internet streaming...
I'm not sure I fully understand the comment. Isn't it more of a
bandwidth issue, than the particular delivery mechanism?

of any open source mp3pro decoder. But, I'm probably not
a very good source for info such as that.
Assuming mpepro is not available open source, would something like that
be a possible (paid subscription) value-add that could be delivered via
squeezenet?
Thanks again.

information until the next piece actually starts.
The track info is really ambiguous much of the time.
Thank you for any comments.

Isn't internet radio an expressly intended use for the SB3 product?
I wonder if MP3Pro decoding could be provided in the future?
I am enjoying our SB3. Thank you for a very fine product.

has to
be interpreted at the SB, right? I mean eventually some sequence of
bytes is converted into some action, for example something changes from
one state to another, right?
Can someone trace through an example?
Thank you.

I, too, am experiencing these intermittent freeze-ups.
Using internet radio via Squeezenet. Have (wireless) SB3. Have SMC
router. All other machines on network are powered off.

I am also getting this error. (with Live365).
I don't know what causes it, but if I sign off of squeezenetwork, and
then immediately reconnect, the error disappears. [Until the next time
:-) ]

Is there a preferred place to post suggestions for new features?
Thank you.
