wrote that error message?) I'll stick with what I have for the time

I had 7.7.0 sitting in my Downloads folder. I take it that's what you
meant.
I've deleted it, so let's see what happens.

Panic over!
My music is on an external hard-drive - this seemed to have "jammed"
for whatever reason. Unplugging and reconnecting the power seemed to
free it up.
Maybe it's about to fail!

Internet radio will play ok.
So far I've tried:

Switching Squeezebox off at mains, disconnecting power cable and
ethernet cable.
Re-loading firmware, to v127.

I'm using V7.3.3 and just noticed that my lossless WMA files are being
"converted" to 700kbps. I'm not using any plug-ins (as far as I'm
aware.
What's the point of having lossless files if this is going on?
Is it a "feature" of 7.3.3?
How do
navigate to this or use the other playlists, or the
"general" collection.

London's Burning - The Clash?
Fire - Arthur Brown?
Burn - Deep Purple?
Disco Inferno - The Tramps?
Towering Inferno?
Blazing Saddles?
Backdraft?
Fireman Sam?
Are any of these forbidden - or have I missed the point?
I'll get my coat!

I think it's one fewer key press:

containing the track in question
so I'll keep an eye on things.
Is it just me or is the sound a bit more detailed with 6.5.4 and the
firmware upgrade? (Or am I risking opening a can of worms here?!)

All tracks are WMA - mostly lossless, but a few at lower bitrates
I have been experiencing intermittent problems with the power supply to
my external HDD - could this be the cause? The external HDD holds my
music folder,
, might not appeal to another. I got rid of my Arcam Alpha 7SE
because I thought the Squeezebox was much better. Each to their own I
suppose!

About £50 for a pair, plus delivery is what I paid - no more drop outs!

I've just noticed the same problem in the last day or so. I'm running
XP Home, with Norton AV, SS 6.5.2.
I'm not really that bothered, as I don't access the album art that

I'm thinking of going down this route, as my wireless can be a bit
flaky, with signal strength between 20% - 60%.
Do you connect router -> homeplug and homeplug -> Squeezebox with patch
cables or crossover cables?
