The last time I saw this happened was the flac file had its embedded cue
sheet, in addition to the external cue file.
Try delete the embedded cue sheet and it should be fine.

ce that Unicode cue sheets, if not saved in
"UTF-8" format, will simply be ignored by SlimServer during the scan.
Give it a try.

ption 1 is more sensible. FLAC not only free up valuable storage
space, it is lossless giving you zero degradation in audio quality.
Today, I no longer see any reason why people would want to store music
in WAV format.

Were there any funky pixels at the display when problem occurs?
When you reconfigure your SB2 to connect did you notice any invalid
values in fields like SSID, IP address, subnetmasks, default gateway,
etc.?

The Server Settings -> Plugins did not even pick up the new Plugins. I
checked files and directories access permission. All seems alright.

SB2 was working fine since last evening. I will continue to monitor and
if it happens again I will get in touch with SD support. Thanks for the

6.1.1. All firmware updates were successful.
The rollback was ok. The SB2 worked fine. I started noticing the weird
problem only after the upgrade and downgrade exercise. Have I done
anything wrong in the process?

I remember seeing instructions on how to modify the MAC address in this
forum. I tried the SEARCH but could not find it.
Could anybody advice the procedure? Somehow the MAC address of my SB2
have been molested and I need to put it back right.

In my case, I do not think the Planet responds to just any code. It must
be due to Planet and the SB2 sharing some code set. I have a number of
other remote controllers in the same area. TVs, preamps, etc. They
don't interfere with each other and with my Planet at all.

The SlimServer sends digitized music via either wireless or wired
connection to the SB2. What communication protocol is used for this
purpose? Is it TCP? UDP? or other streaming protocols? Pls advise.
