I had this issue after upgrading from 6.3 to 6.5, and was advised by slim technical support to upgrade to the latest nightly, and it was solved. It's a shame when simple things which have worked so well for so long fall apart after upgrading. -- matt24

Take away the VFD and replace it with an LCD? No way, the VFD is the reason I bought the SB3. I'm not going to try it, but I don't think my Ipod's hard disc would fare to well if I dropped it either... -- matt24 matt24's
