The thing is, Browse Music Folder doesn't use the tag database, it only
goes on the file name. So it really shouldn't matter what's in the db.
Can you get to the tracks using the conventional methods (browse
artist, search etc?).

I'd actually guess it has more to do with the space and/or the comma
than the fact that the tag matches. Try chaging it to test test or

Sure, but that takes a lot of time and disk space (you end up with FLAC
files with the quality of AAC or whatever). It's also not always
possible - not all DRM is made equal and not all allows burning.

bandwidth limitation, it's how slimserver is designed. If you want to
stream FLAC or whatever else, you can use softsqueeze at your remote
location instead of Winamp.

I really have no idea what could cause that - sorry. Very strange...
There's a command called wget which is available on a lot of *nix
boxes, but I'm not sure if it comes with OSX - can you fire up a
command prompt and see if it's there? It may be useful in diagnosis.

Not really possible I don't think - you'll never be able to get the
sound and video in sync properly because of buffering in the audio
stream. If you're streaming the video too (not clear from your post)
then there's more buffering and it's even harder to sync.

What's the format of the shortcut? Looks like you're using a UNC name in
there, you could try just a plain drive letter seeing as it's a local
disk.
