Ipgone on my wife's account and Ipeng for Ipad on my account. Co
Thanks - that worked.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this further?

I'm running Slimserver on Windows Home Server, which is Windows Server
2003 SBS SP2 under the covers. I am positive this is my problem, but
have no idea how to fix it.

SS on my xp laptop it will play perfectly - even with three
wireless hops (WHS music share -> SS on xp laptop -> SB3).
Is anybody else with 'stopping problems' using Windows Server 2003 (in
particular SBS SR2 which is underneath WH
list, yet turning on the
firewall causes the SB3 stop (eventually...)

My SB3 has died. Well, not completely. But I have tried new power
supply, removing wifi card and other waving dead chicken suggestions.
My choices appear to be:
1. Take it to local hifi repairer. This would appear to have an
uncertain outcome and cost me upwards of $80.
2. Buy a second-hand SB3
Thank you for your replies.
It seems low risk to try out a basic RPi with piCore Player as I already
use IPeng and Orange Squeeze as controllers.
It would appear to be the cheapest option too :)

I have an old iPhone 5 that I would like to use as a remote controller /

This iPhone can not be updated past iOS10, so the app store is not very
usable any more.
Otherwise I would get iPeng Classic.
I do have IPeng Classic for iPad - but this will not install on the
iPhone.
Any sugg
Thanks for the advice - particularly putting a shortcut to the home
screen for the material skin.
That works great.
Not sure I can get it working as a player easily.
I did think I might be able to get the iPhone to behave like it is a
Airplayer with a different app.
But it looks a bit difficult.
Nice to see those old SB3s kicking along.
Postage to Australia makes it better for me to look on Gumtree
(Craigslist) or local ebay, but the thought is appreciated.

I use SongKong and it seems to pick up live bootleg albums and
self-published albums fairly well. (It isn't free though, but you could
test out the trial version.)
