%. Same problem.
4. Are you using static IP or DHCP?
DHCP.
Maybe something happened to degrade your wireless connection recently?
Are internet did go down, but this has happened before. Have not
encountered any other problems w/ MAP.

Pat - I'm not clear on why this is important. I have not had a problem
w/ starting/accessing slimserver.

would only experience
choppiness a few times per week, at max...and it was never a sustaining
issue. Typically, I could hit pause and and then re-start and issue
would be over with.
Does it make sense that the issue might very well be with the ISP?
Recommendations on next steps?

this week. Since coming back online, I haven't been able to listen to
my music -- it's all choppy. This is why I'm looking at the direct SB
- MacBook connection.
Cheers.

Thanks again, Pat. Not sure on how to assign the fixed IP address to my
Mac ethernet jack though.
Advice for a neophyte...anyone?
Just saw a related post in the General Section:
Upgrading from WiFi to Wired Ethernet

I'm looking to do the same thing for exactly the same reason. Sounds
like wiring your PC to your SB was really easy.
Did you have to assign fixed TCP/IP addresses to your PC/Mac ethernet
jack or to your SB to get up and running?
