All my CDs are now in Flac format...not sure if this has anything to do
with it but I dont think so.

rs are not exactly high end or anythingis
it wrong of me to compare the SB3 to a CD player? Could the CD player
be a better match to my preamp's input section maybe? CD's I used by
the way were Enya and Jack Johnson
Any suggestions welco
there are enough people experiencing this issue that it really
needs to be solved.

Checked and both units are firmware version 64 and server is 6.5.0 -
9916
...if that helps anyone. I tried restarting the slimserver service but
that didnt seem to help with the static issue. Not like I'd be
pioneering something by thinking of doing that.
