It would be nice if squeezelite would dump rudimentary information to
stdout, eg track info on track change. I assume this information is
already available to players in order to update their display output.

I don't think this is a network issue. I have tested several different
ways of interrupting the network between the server and the slimp3, and
they never result in looping behaviour on the slimp3.
