the slim.exe stops responding. The squeeze
box can no longer talk to the server either. The only option is to kill
the process and restart.
I'm running Windows XP SP2.
I did a quick search and didn't see this reported. Anyone know of an
existing bug or seeing this also?

Also, I had the same setting with older versions and never noticed this
big a CPU hit after a library update. Is the new version much more CPU
hungry when it scans the library?

The thing is it is not a network drive. The music folder lives on my
local D drive. I think the enhanced SP2 security may prevent services
from accessing certain files, but that is just a guess.

Seems to have actually gotten worse, I have the "Ignore Songs Disabled
in iTunes" set, however slim is showing me all the songs in the iTunes
music library. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or what
information would help you pin it down.
