I totally disagree.I have only just purchased iPeng, and had to do
so 3 times for
Yep, that fixes it. To anyone else struggling with this, move your
finger in the shape of a heartbeat monitor when using the sliders.
Thanks!!

Ah no, my phone is on ios10. I didnt want to upgrade it until I could
see everything was working. My iPad is ios11 and the sliders drag on
that.
Even if I unsynch all my players I cannot change individual volumes.

I switched off party mode,

This was before (and after) I enabled party mode.

Its an iPhone 6. If I press the toggle the sliders appear, but they do
not respond to anything but a double tap to mute. The master slider
responds, just

Fantastic. You have just got a few more sales. Good stuff.
I have noticed that when I group players together I can change the
volume individually on the iPad, but can only change

Damn it looks like Ive missed the discounts which is annoying as I need
to purchase it 5 times (4 phones and a house iPad on different apple
accounts)
I dont seem to be able to find iPeng party.

yes they play.
usually they play for 20-30 seconds, then restart, then continue all
the way through.
i had one track the other day, that play until about 10 seconds before
the end. then restarted. it did this maybe 8 times before i got REALLY
fed up and switched it off.

did this work?
to recap:
for file in *jpg
do
ARTIST1=${file#*- }
ARTIST=${ARTIST1%.*}
ALBUM=${file% -*}
NEWDIR=`ls -d ../../Music/Flac/$ARTIST/$ALBUM*`
if [[ -d $NEWDIR ]]
then
mv $file $NEWDIR/cover.jpg
fi
done

if you can zip them up, and put them on an ftp share, i can write a
script to put them into a self extracting zip. it shouldn't take more
than 5 mins.
--
wilgartw
wilgartw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com
in fact, for anyone else... the script would be something like this (not
tested it yet)
for file in *.jpg
do
ARTIST=${file#.*-}
ALBUM=${file%-.*}
mkdir $ARTIST
mkdir $ARTIST/$ALBUM
mv $file $ARTIST/$ALBUM/cover.jpg
done

actually, just read this
http://developer.apple.com/internet/opensource/opensourcescripting.html
and it looks like you can use any shell scripting.
let me just tweak the above script to your requirements and test it.
give me 5 mins.

as instructed in the link above, the shell is
/bin/bash
cd to your pictures directory, then copy and paste each line by line
into the terminal. it should work. it may be wise to make a copy of
your directory first ;)
--
wilgartw
it is.
if you wanted to test it with just a small set of files change the
first line to (for eg) for file in 1999*jpg

This looks good. In your example it should move the file to

Will this work?
sorry bad example 1999 is the album name, not the year of release
(that'd be 1983 from memory)
--
wilgartw
ah, well that makes it quite difficult as you don't have the year in the
pictures folder anywhere (perhaps this is your issue as to why it
doesn't show...)
--
wilgartw

here you go, this should work
for file in *jpg
do
ARTIST1=${file#*- }
ARTIST=${ARTIST1%.*}
ALBUM=${file% -*}
NEWDIR=`ls -d ../Music/Flac/$ARTIST/$ALBUM*`
if [[ -d $NEWDIR ]]
then
mv $file $NEWDIR/cover.jpg
fi
done
--
wilgartw
test it first by changing the first line to
for file in Parklife*jpg
or any other album name.
issues i can forsee ...
where you have two dashes in a name.
where the album name in your music directory is called whatever (disc
2) year .. but i think that should be ok.
--
wilgartw
just to check.
your working directory the ones with the jpgs in is
Users/Myusername/Pictures/
not
Users/Myusername/Pictures/AlbumArt
if it is the latter you need to chamnge the line to read
NEWDIR=`ls -d ../../Music/Flac/$ARTIST/$ALBUM*`
--
wilgartw
that should work. what happens if you just type
ls -d ../../Music/Flac/$ARTIST/$ALBUM*
if that errors try putting in the full path
eg
ls -d /Users/Myusername/Music/Flac/$ARTIST/$ALBUM*
