Played with album review over the weekend. Decided to check my
installation and found that when I extracted MHCPAN there was a problem
and not all of it ended up with my plugins. Did it over and now AR/Bio
work perfectly.
Lesson learned.
Thanks again for all the help. This is a great plugin.
New to allmusic and album review/biography so can't speak to the speed
other than to say it seems fast enough on my Duet.
Still have a problem with Album Review. On the duet it is now all
computer stuff like:
blonde on blonde ifa href=http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p= and
Goes on and on.

Just back in town and have been working on this. Loaded the MHCPAN
package and it seems to have helped. Strange behaviour. Some albums
and biographies show perfect while others still display things like
this:

I've noticed a speed up in allmusic in the last 2 months. They must
have updated their servers or something. They used to hang a lot and
you had to be patient, but now they seem pretty quick. This is from my
laptop not a controller mind you.

I'm sorry about this. The issue here is that it's pretty complex getting that
data. The plugin has to do several lookups to get

Really do like the pluggins and don't mean to be negative about them.
I did find when I got home and tried them on my real server that the
functionality was better but had a problem with the display on the
duet. It would give me a line or two of the biography
Went by the house and took another look. Using the web interface I get
a great screen that has the beginning of the review or biography with a
link to the full review/biography.
On the duet I get:

so on for 6 or so lines then

so on for 6 or so lines then 3 or 4 lines of review then more of the

It's working for me right now. Sometimes they're suffering from a little
intelligent caching system. Remove the
