I usually stick my controller in the cradle when I go to bed and pull it out when I eat breakfast. It lasts all day and usually wants a charge before bed. I suspect that it won't last as long during a party environment, but it should last. -- ik632 --

What release hgave you installed ? Recently there were a few releases where battery saving seem to have been disabled but after a recent update - power saving is operational again. Check Settings/Advanced/Factory Test/Power Management Make sure Suspend Enabled - checked Suspend Wake - uncheck

I updated it just one hour or two before it died. I do not know which mode or state it was in then. I just saw the display light up and it said "low battery" and then dark, dead. Now it's in the cradle. -- panter panter's
