an alternative is to access it via radiotime. go to internet
radio-search, enter wbur, and select the one you want. then save it as
a favorite for future use.
right now, wbur fm is a 64kb ogg stream on radiotime.

Radiotime didn't work for me (on 2 of my 3 booms). Don't ask me why - I

via streaming on my various Squeeze products. The station's web site
says that as of 12-14-2009 they changed their mp3 stream from 24kbps
(22kHz) to 48 kbps (44kHz). Would tht stop my receiving the station? I
get a connecting
try this URL. works for me as 48kbs

I've never added a URL manually. How do you do it on a Boom? I'll look
at user guides also.
Thanks.

I added it on the server (Squeezebox Server, running on a machine here
at home). That was straightforward as there is a choice to tune in a
URL you enter (Internet Radio-Tune in URL), and then I just made it a
favorite.
Similar process on mysqueezebox.com, although I don't use that so don't
