OK, weirdness happening for sure and I'm sure if I can figure this out
then the rest will fall into place.
My Transporter usually (but not always) turns my computer off around 80
seconds after an album is finished even though I have the power setting
set at Go into standby after 15 minutes.

I live in a condo/loft building too but my unit is 2 floors and cabling
the unit is unfortunately just not an option (WAF). Hard-wiring would
help to isolate the problem but I really don't feel like unhooking it
all right now (lazy I guess - maybe next week). Because I can
reproduce it now at
I'm just using the ATT router they provided with my DSL service, I
think it's a 2Wire. Good luck!

My library is 99% ALAC files. Only using the XLR outs of the
Transporter.
Streaming/File Types specs are as such:
Apple Lossless - FLAC - Disabled
Apple Lossless - MP3 - Disabled
Apple Lossless - WAV - ALAC
These settings have always confused me. Should I change the FLAC row
from Disabled to
I don't think this has anything to do with file types. Something is
wrong at the network level. The Transporter is losing contact with the
server.
Is Transporter connected wired or wireless? Is there any possibility of
an IP address conflict perhaps?

Conflict? I don't think so but how would I go about checking (I'm not
really a computer guy but more of a music lover)?
Transporter is connected wirelessly - strength level fluctuates between
90 and 94%.
Thanks for the help!

Also, forgot to mention that my computer (which is dedicated to and only
runs SC) shuts down as well. Only seems to occur when an album or song
is selected via the Controller. Weird.

Your computer -shuts down- when this happens? Yes, that would cause
Transporter to lose
Sorry, it just goes into standby mode. A push of the Transporter's
Power button wakes it up again. I have it set to go into standby
after 30 minutes of inactivity.
This problem only appears in the first 4 minutes of an album. If it
can get by that, which it usually does, then it will continue
Hmm... Does it still do it if you disable power saving on the computer?

I have a problem that happens about every 6 or 7 albums I listen to.
When I use the Controller to choose an album it plays the first 3 or 4
minutes no problem. All of a sudden the lights on the Transporter
display go out, the music continues to play for 10 seconds or so and
then the music
