I've using PlaylistCreator3. When in Itunes select all the tracks in the
playlist and drag over to PlaylistCreator. Will then do the job for you.
The only other thing I had to do was open the file in notepad and
replace M:\ with \\qmultimedia\music for my NAS.
Hope this helps.

I'm away from home, so can't test creating a playlist from itunes to try
in SbS. I'll try to remember to test this tomorrow on my machine.

Yes, I edited the paths using find/replace, but it was only after fixing
the hyphen issue that the playlist would work. Unfortunately, there is
no easy find/replace function to fix the hyphens.

Yeah, I see that on my end. But i'm not sure that's really the problem.
Are you sure that the drive/directory/subdirectory of the song location
is correct in the playlist created with the program?

When the playlist converts from iTunes, there is only the track number,
one space and the title, like this: "01 Come Together". Unfortunately,
there is no extra space to facilitate the kind of find and replace you
suggest. I wonder if there is some control in iTunes that would provide

I don't get what the problem is... perhaps there is confusion as to what
is displayed on the WEB UI, or SB display and what is contained in the
m3u (playlist)files? One is display formatting ONLY, set by yourself,
the other is t do with how you set your file/track format. I checked my

This program works well; however, my iTunes tracks are in the format "01

options for rectifying this that I can think of are to manually change
each one or do a search/replace for each number 01 through whatever the

Found this yesterday and tried it out (the GUI easy to use version).
Works very nicely and once created the new playlists can be edited in a
word processor to find/replace any info you need to if the file
locations are different (C: vs D: etc.)

I realize I would have to edit the playlist to access the files on a
different computer.
