I find the Android App, Squeeze Commander to be the easiest way to
switch players from one server to another.

It should work either way, so don't worry about it. If you shut down the
old server before switching servers on the Touch then when you enter My
Music it will search for the old server, time out after about 10
seconds, and give you a choice to change servers.

Your Touch should find all instances of Squeezebox server running on
your network - it's "Switch Library" see below.

No, just power cycle your Touch and you should be OK.
You can also run two servers at the same time, switching from one to
the other using the Touch's menu. I think it's under "Advanced
settings". The option is called "Choose library" or "Choose server" or
something like that.

I just installed my first Logitech Squeezebox Touch and I'm having
second thoughts about which computer I should use as the server. If I
install the server software on the new computer and shut down the old
server, are there any additional steps needed to get the player work
with the new server?
