[slim] Is this one way to sneak (from time to time) a temp file into SlimServer to play?

>From time to time I would like to play a temporary 'music', or perhaps podcast, file thru SlimServer. But, I do not want to have to either fully or partially rescan everything. Using the WaveInput plugin is one option but may be beyond my novice skills. However, a simpler alternate that occurred

Using the "browse file folder" functionality is the way to go. The only problem with this is that the database will be updated with whatever tags my be in the file. These entries will persist after the file is deleted until you perform a "clear and scan" of you music directory. Also note that i
