I am dismayed by the amount of SPAM in the Slimdevices wiki. I would
volunteer to help filter it, but I don't know who to contact.
It seems like it's far too easy for a SPAMMER to register and create a
topic. Every topic show up on the

I just noticed that links to external sites lack the *rel="nofollow"*
attribute. No wonder there's a lot of link spam. This setting needs to
be changed IMO.
Or upgrade MediaWiki from version 1.11.1 to version 1.4, where this is
the default.

The spam links seem to mostly link to the same sites, so it would be
nice if you could add the URLs to MediaWiki's blacklist, in addition to
blocking the spammers.

ah, that's most likely because the person who replaced the content with the
"category:spam" doesn't have the privileges to ban users.

every other week some robot auto-registers and leaves some spam and it
looks like it never leaves the system (gets deleted).

Considering there is only a handful of developers left on Squeezebox, I
doubt if this is seen as a priority in Logitech.
Maybe the third party devlopers may wish to pick this up, although with
all the name and feature changes it will be a lot of work.

typical wiki philosophie, but there are not enough active users to
