I've tried both a new scanning and scanning new files, but nothing happens. Still missing a couple of hundred albums..(It has found some for some reason) I can browse them from the SB, but not search as they're not in the db so to speak. What can I do ? -- Joaquin -

What types of files? When you say you can browse them - do you mean Browse Music Folder (normally they would be added to the database as you do this) or Browse Artist/Album etc (in which case they are already in the database)? If there is a set of albums that you are having trouble with, copy th

It worked when I runned the scan manually. Why doesn't it work from Slimserver-explorer ?!? Anyway, it found most albums (I think) but I got an error that looks like this: Code: Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corporation

The error suggests that there is a problem with a CUE file somewhere - are you using these, or do you just have separate files for each track? You can also run, from the command prompt, scan --d_scan --rescan (and several other flags if you want), this puts extra info in the output about the sc

I use separate files for each track. Eventhough I have some playlistentries that my program creates when ripping a cd, but that doesn't matter, does it ?!? What does this mean (last row): Code: Size mismatch on COMM at C:\Program\Slimserver\server/Slim/Formats/MP3.pm

Well, you said your files are MP3, but the error log shows it is trying to find WAV files. Here's a guess: your ripping program (EAC?) is creating playlists for each album (you don't need these, BTW, but I think it might be a default??). The playlists are pointing to WAVs. But you are then trans
