Hi ! I have three CDs ripped into MP3 each as a separate album,which I originally tagged so each title as well as file name starts with track number like 01 a1 02 b1 03 c1 etc Yesterday I used mp3tag to merge 3 albums into one album and then I renumerated the track numbers only (not titles

If you are using Browse Music Folder, the order is alphabetical. Make your file names: 1-01 title for disc 1, track 1. If you are using Browse Albums (or New Music etc) then the order is by disc and then track. Have you set disc numbers? -- snarlydwarf

Hi Snarlidwarf ! I have not set disc numbers (there is no standard field with this name in mp3 tag). There is a single composition (Opera) which spans all 3 original CD since it was just to big to fit a single one. I am going to change the titles/filenames to include track number at the
