As long as you keep some air gap behind the A5 speakers you shouldn't have to worry about the bass. These things put out a LOT of bass for their size. They really are great. -- SuperQ SuperQ's Profile:

If you can, consider the 'NHT M-00 powered monitors' (http://store.nhthifi.com/M-00-Powered-Mini-monitor?sc=12category=1213). These are an acoustic-suspension design, so no worries placing on a bookshelf. You will probably require an attenuator, and NHT makes 'the PVC PC'
