That device looks too new.. you'll probably have to use the IR learn

Hey theta
The package you need from lirc.org is remotes.tar.bz2 which contains
files for different devices. After unpacking it you need to find a
suitable .conf file for your amplifier. Put only this file into the
IRBlaster directory.
Then restart SlimServer or reload the .conf file from the
Ooops~No, I did not...
Which file I need downloading? (see below)
lircrc_config-0.1.1.tar.gz
lirc-0.8.0.tar.gz
I am newbie, let me repeat the steps, if I put lircrcXXX.tar.gz in
/tmp, I untar and move it to /mnt/slimserver/Plugins/IRBlaster/, then
restart Slimserver 6.3, then go to

I was using IRBlaster to turn on my Yamaha YSP-800 when I turned on
Squeezebox. The YSP is on my wall as my speaker+amp for my bedroom.
I wanted to use this setup as an alarm clock, yet when the alarm would
come on, my YSP would not. I figured out what I was doing wrong - I was
setting IRBlaster

The other thing I discovered with my Yamaha stereo was that I didn't
even need the IR transmitter.. I simply used a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo
cable to plug the SB3 into the remote in port on my receiver. This
way it's a direct connection, and I don't have to have the IR blaster
sitting on the front
the jvc home theatre amp might have something like that (i.e. allowing
direct connection).
the sony doesn't.
i just want to make sure a tivo ir emitter will also work with sb3 and
irblaster plugin?

...oh now THAT is cool!
My receiver has something similar. I can play with it without even
having to purchase an IR blaster! Cool!
I never thought of that.

Thanks so much!
It's ALVE!
I consulted my Marantz SR8400 manual. At first I was disappointed,
there was an RC-5

Does anyone foresee issues with this. I.e. JVC/sony frequencies right.
Can i have two IRBlasters doing different things and sending different
codes? Etc. Can IRBlaster respond to SB3 power up from alarm?
JVC and Sony both use 'standard' frequencies (at
