I don't use SB3 (so my apologies if this isn't actually relevant) but is
it anything to do with wireless security?
Like - have Slim Devices introduced new wireless security into the
latest build that may need to be reconfigured before your player can be
seen? Perhaps a previous security setting

Same problem here. I tried running the server from the command line and

removed iTunes, reinstalled the server from scratch and things began to
work properly. I don't know what about iTunes made it wonky but this
seems to have so
I now only get "your player cannot be found" in the www interface ...the
whole setup has been working perfectly for months, until the dreaded
upgrade !! ARH ..
