I've been doing this with Tag Rename. Ctrl+F4 (Multi File Tag Editor) | Edit all supported tag fields | add your cover art (from any location either by drag drop or browse. It doesn't confuse my slimserver (linux 6.3.1 from the Perl Source Code (tar.gz)) -- chuckiebear

chuckiebear, i think you are mistaken mate :) I think you are confusing *Folder* Art with *File* Art. tagrename will download, add and display Folder art for all file types, but it cant actually embed artwork into the actual files for OGG or FLAC. -- dangerous_dom *SlimServer Version:*

Same here. I don't plan changing from FLAC any time soon. I'm surprised that Vorbis comments never had an embeded artwork spec from the start, they seem to have done everything else pretty well (like allowing multiple entries for comments etc.). -- funkstar

One wonders about the wisdom of actually embedding artwork, though. For most (non-streaming) uses, embedding artwork in the track doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Artwork is relatively large (compared to other tags).It's usually the same for all the tracks from a single album, so

You can do it with Mp3Tag, Just did it myself. Simply load up the folder that contains all the subfolders containing your music. CTRL+A to highlight every track, press the 'Action (quick)' button, select 'Import Cover From File' and enter folder.jpg as the string. It will then add the correct
