more accurate to say that the slimp3 was programmed to be controlled by
the sony remote).
Really? Very old days then. I

Oh, didn't mean to correct, just inform. I agree that a new, more
slimdevices-specific image would make sense at this juncture. I
imagine we'll

Agreed, vast improvement over the old style remote.
I was able to see the Transporter in the flesh for the first time at
the London What HiFi show this weekend (and ordered one), so I've only
played with the new remote briefly, but I am a little perplexed by the

One small correction the new buttons are not sleep but browse and

but they have potential in the software to the very useful with future

BTW, I wouldn't disagree that the remote is an incremental
The backlit buttons are welcome, but I find that in the dark it would be
more useful if the letters above the buttons were lit up.
Overall I like the new remote but it does not seem much a departure

Agreed, vast improvement over the old style remote.
However, I would like to have a setting to adjust the backlight time. I
would like to increase the backlight ON time.

Ok. I couldn't get 6.5 to find my music. And 6.5.1 won't either. This is ridiculous. I specify the directory, the music is definitely there (easily found under other versions). What the H?Get the new Windows Live Messenger! Try it!
