I second everyone else's posts. I used to use a Series 2 Tivo w/HMO to play MP3's. The sound quality via my SB2 is considerably better. The SB's internal DAC is far superior to most you'll find on the market in typical consumer devices. Just get it already! You'll love it and never look back.

I have stopped using my Tivo to play MP3s now that I have a Squeezebox. The Squeezebox sounds better than the Tivo, but an even more important difference is in the interface. It's a real pain drilling down through Tivo's screens to get to the music I want to hear. And, as Derek said, being able
