I've just caught up with this thread.. thank you so much mkozlows for
creating that! i use the light font for normal operation and standard
for standby mode. can i use what you have done for light mode, ie.
retain the smaller font size?

Just tried it. Looks nice, no obvious problems but I have to say I find
it much harder to read from my couch than the default font. Would work
for me if there was less of a gap but we've got about 4m between the
couch and the Sb here.

Just installed the new font - nice work! Looks really good and gets much
more on the display. The only (slight) issue is that some of the numbers
seem a little off w.r.t horizontal aligment - e.g. if I have "21" the
gap between the 2 and 1 is huge.
Not a big deal though - this font should be in
File this under "ask and ye shall receive." I've created a condensed
font for the default SB2 "standard" font size. It's based on Gill Sans
Condensed with a few tweaks here and there. It looks substantially more
attractive to me and fits more characters on the screen without
compromising legibil

That's only good for the older displays on SBG.
SB2 uses a different resolution, thus will not accept these older fonts.
For now, the built-ins are all there is.

The size button will make it smaller, but it won't make it a lighter
font. Are any alternate fonts available for the SB2?
