Is it NOT possible to configure the port on a Squeezebox ? What happens if you have multiple devices? You can only have a port used once in the network at a time!!! I did come across a menu on the player itself that gave the port number. This was: 19811 but I've tried this evening with a PortC

Sorry for the unclear description. I have beeb running sc7 on the ready nas since along. First with 6.54, then the sc7 beta.bin. I use a Dell dimension 9200 quad, and view sc by opening 192.168.1.107:9000, until this last update as well as installing some ready nas's add-ons. I have 2 sqeezebox3s

Hang on, what exactly is the problem here? I thought the issue was that the ReadyNAS already had something listening on 9000 which was preventing SC coming up? If so, the PC you're connecting from has nothing to do with it (likewise sysinternals as they only do Windows stuff last time I checked!).

I'm using a readynas with the latest SC7.01 installed. MY ready nas has the latest firmwware installed. But DC will not open in port 9000. I'm guessing that some addon or other service is using 9000.Any advice os apreciated. Thanks in advance -- kmlevine --
